How We Got Here
Corestream’s Core Team
With more than 14 years of experience, Corestream co-founder Neil Vaswani is a true leader in the benefits industry. Prior to founding Corestream, Neil installed and managed voluntary benefits solutions for international organizations including Citigroup, GlaxoSmithKline, Applebee’s, and Wachovia. Neil graduated with a Bachelor’s in Entrepreneurship and Finance from Babson College.
Zach Malone has been operating at the intersection of technology and benefits for over a decade. Before Corestream, Zach built RiteHealth, a voluntary benefits service provider that supplied discounted health plans utilizing PPO networks. Zach also has significant financial experience—he previously worked as an investment banking analyst in New York. Zach is an alumnus of Southern Methodist University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s in Economics.
Corestream’s financial chief Adam Brothers began working in private equity and investment banking in 2000, when he participated in the sale of MessageClick, a startup he helped build. He has significant consulting experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and structured finance projects, and previously worked with Himalaya Capital, UBS Capital Americas, W2 Investments, and Agile Equity. Adam holds an MBA in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business and a BA in History from Columbia.
As Chief Technical Officer, Brad Harris provides Corestream with indispensable strategic and technical guidance. Prior to working with Corestream, Brad helped organizations like Coca-Cola, Continental, GE, Boeing, and others develop, implement, and maintain key business systems. An expert in his field, Brad is often tapped to speak at HR technology events. Brad earned a bachelor’s in business administration from The University of Richmond.
As SVP of Strategy & Operations at Corestream, Gwen oversees company strategic planning, BizOps & analytics, vendor relations & new product roll-out, and operational process improvements. Gwen began her career in management consulting at Bain & Company, and then moved into private equity investing at Golden Gate Capital in San Francisco. Gwen then pivoted into digital health when she founded Footstep Labs, a startup focused on physical therapy telehealth. She also previously worked with MyFitnessPal and Stride Health, health tech companies in the fitness and benefits industries. She has significant experience in business and product operations, strategy, finance, and M&A. Gwen holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a BS in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford.
Candy has been a member of the Corestream Executive Team for 10 years and has over 20 years of senior management experience in voluntary benefits, human resource management, customer service and client retention within several diverse markets. Prior to joining Corestream, Candy was the managing partner of MCFS and National Billing Inc. focusing on benefits and claims management, estate settlements and client representation for seniors and their families.
Neale began his career with Cigna in their National Accounts division, where he was responsible for the ongoing management of the Life, Accident and Disability programs for several large employers. Neale then joined Pacific Resources in 2008 where he acted in a consulting capacity for multiple national employers on their Life, Accident, Disability, Leave Management and Voluntary Benefit plans. Over the next decade Neale took on additional responsibilities involving operations and strategy under the title of Vice President. As SVP of Customer Success at Corestream, Neale manages the Implementation, Account Management and Customer Care areas, where he strives to integrate the workflows of these three departments to ensure a positive end-to-end customer experience.
With over 20 years of advertising agency and client-side retail marketing leadership experience, Graeme is an established creative entrepreneurial marketing executive with the ability to build solid relationships with strategic partners as well as consensus across multiple organizations.
Graeme last served as VP of marketing for Ashley Furniture, a $4.2 billion global retailer and manufacturer. With multiple media channel experience and an in depth understanding of consumer behavior, Graeme is known for executing solid communication strategies and engaging ROI driven campaigns. Mr. Gordon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Advertising from Southern Methodist University, where he also served as an adjunct Advertising professor.
Alvin has over 25 years of experience as a Technology professional with a very diverse industry background. He started his career as a Software Developer and worked through the ranks to hold several key management and leadership positions. Alvin specializes in Project and Portfolio Management, Product Innovation, Process Excellence, and Agile Transformations. He has done extensive consulting engagements to help organizations implement scalable agile processes for identifying, prioritizing, and executing on their strategic vision. He has also helped organizations apply Lean Agile principles to their business operations in order to achieve and sustain operational excellence. Alvin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies along with several professional certifications including Project Management Professional, Agile Certified Practitioner, Certified Scrum Master, Team Kanban Practitioner.
Brandi has over 20 years of human resources experience with a specialization in talent management including workforce planning, global recruiting, performance management, and employee development and employee engagement. She also has significant experience managing employee relations, benefits, change management processes and recruiting process implementations.
Her career has included management and consulting positions with large, mid-sized, and small companies in various industries including research, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, financial services, healthcare, and government agencies.
Prior to joining the Corestream Team, Brandi worked for GlaxoSmithKline & Catalent Pharma Solutions where she provided HR consulting and recruiting initiatives for the southeast region. In addition, Brandi has held human resources and recruiting management roles for major fortune 500 companies partnering with key business leaders to ensure alignment of HR & recruiting strategies with business initiatives and goals.
Brandi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, a Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and a Project Management Certification.
