Corestream, Leader in Voluntary Benefits Technology, Certified as Minority-Owned Business by the National Minority Supplier Diversity Council (NMSDC)

As a leading voluntary benefits technology provider for the human resources industry, Corestream’s minority-owned business certification provides added value for their customer base.

January 2015 – New York City, NY – Corestream, a voluntary benefits technology provider for the human resources industry, has been recognized as a certified minority-owned business. The certification brings added value to the company’s current and future customer base.

Each year, private and government sector organizations seek to develop and diversify their supplier base. Many set goals to increase the percentage of their outsourced services from minority-owned businesses. One of the challenges companies encounter is identifying minority-owned businesses. Corestream’s certification allows organizations to gain innovative voluntary benefits technology while meeting the goal of supplier diversification.

“Certification distinguishes Corestream from our competitors,” adds Neil Vaswani, CEO of Corestream. “Corestream prides itself in its competitive advantages such as pricing, capabilities, past performance and availability. However, only certified minority-owned businesses fulfill minority participation goals.” NMSDC certification is an onerous process and designed to weed out companies that do not take the certification seriously. Many companies are unable to meet the high standards and requirements of the NMSDC. Corestream spent a year going through the rigorous process that included legal review and numerous interviews. “Encouraged by one of our larger clients to seek certification, we subsequently began the process more than a year ago. They explained the value of the certification to their organization and we recognized this as an important facet of strengthening our client relationships. We are excited to be finalized with the NMSDC. Corestream appreciates the NMSDC’s thorough process in vetting and approving us,” adds Vaswani.
